1-16-19 appeals court says gerald turner trial will be held in fdl

A Wisconsin appeals court has ruled that a trial on whether  Gerald Turner is released or committed to a mental health facility will be held in Fond du lac. Turner's mandatory release date last February prompted the Wisconsin Department of Justice to file a petition to commit the 69-year-old to a mental health facility.  The state is arguing that Turner is a sexually violent person and suffers from mental disorders.  […]
