The Fond du lac School District has rescheduled an information meeting on a major building referendum. The Rosenow Elementary session that was postponed last week because of the snowstorm has been rescheduled to Wednesday February 27. There will be two questions on the April ballot. The first asks voters for permission to spend more than $90 million for upgrades at all school district buildings and the second $7 million question would ensure that all district buildings have air conditioning.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
