A Fond du Lac woman is accused of stealing more than a half million dollars from the St. Vincent DePaul store in Sheboygan County. Sixty year old Donna Larue is charged in Sheboygan County Circuit Court with theft in a business setting. She is accused of stealing the money over a seven year period while she worked as a bookkeeper, by forging signatures on checks and cashing them. A preliminary hearing is scheduled March 6 in Sheboygan County Circuit Court.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
