2-23-19 central wisconsin christian school receives major donation

Central Wisconsin Christian School in Waupun has received a major  donation to help move the school closer to starting construction on a multi-million dollar expansion project.  Director of Advancement Gregg Zonnefeld told WFDL news the school  has received a $250,000 gift.  The school announced on its Facebook page Friday that its  launching a 21 day challenge to raise the remaining funds necessary to begin construction this spring.  The project includes […]

APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say three men were rescued after a stairwell collapsed at a bar in Appleton.  The incident happened early Friday morning at the Durty Leprechaun. A spokesman for AARP Wisconsin says an income tax credit for family caregivers would save money in the long run.  A bipartisan proposal backed by AARP would create a $1000 income tax credit for family members in Wisconsin who give care to qualified disabled and elderly people in their homes.  AARP spokesman Jim Flaherty says that doesn’t begin to cover the cost associated with caring for an elderly family member.  […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Wisconsin Democratic Party is filing a federal lawsuit challenging Republican-authored lame-duck laws that limit Gov.
