todayMarch 6, 2019

An Oakfield man involved in a traffic crash last week in Dodge County has died from his injuries.   Twenty two year old Nathan Pattee was pronounced dead at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.  He was a passenger in a car that collided with a pickup truck February 28 on Highway 60 near Jefferson Road in the town of Rubicon. The driver of the car, 25 year old Tamara Bratten, from Hustisford received serious injuries in the crash.   Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says investigators are trying to  determine why Bratten lost control of her vehicle and veered into the oncoming lane of traffic striking the pickup.  The driver of the pickup, 28 year old Calvin Fix, of Waupun received minor injuries.  The crash continues to be investigated by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
