3-13-19 fdl school referendum update

todayMarch 13, 2019

The Fond du lac School District continues to get the word out on a major building referendum,  less than three weeks before voters go to the polls.    The Fond du Lac School District is asking voters for permission to spend up to $91.5 million for upgrades at all school district buildings.  A second question would ensure that all school buildings in the district are air conditioned.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says so far the public response has been positive.  “As we are able to walk through the story of how we’ve come to this point, how we’ve correlated that with the pay-off of Fond du Lac High School to approach the community to have projects happen across the district at a lesser tax impact, update those buildings that are mostly from the 50s, 60s and 70s, people for the most part, in my opinion, people understand,”  Sebert told WFDL news.
