Tabitha and Salvatore Lazaro of Menasha say their daughter Brooklyn’s memory lives on by helping other families who have experienced a stillbirth. As a special memorial to their daughter , the Lazaros, donated a Cuddle Cot to ThedaCare Foundation on the anniversary of Brooklyn’s birth, March 20 of last year. Friday they donated a Cuddle Cot to St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac, joined by Carissa and Zach Dittel, in memory of their son Ian who was stillborn five years ago. Tabitha Lazaro says the Cuddle Cot is a cooling device which preserves a baby’s body for up to five days, to give parents and family more time to grieve. Lazaro says her daughter’s memory lives on by helping others. Agnesian HealthCare Foundation director Michelle Ries says she is most grateful for the donation and to have the opportunity to be good stewards of such a gift. The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation is also donating another Cuddle Cot for Waupun Memorial Hospital.
