MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The attorney for Wisconsin's famous runaway convict and convicted murderer Laurie "Bambi" Bembenek is asking Gov. Tony Evers for a pardon.  Bembenek insisted up until her death in 2010 that she did not kill the ex-wife of her husband in 1982. 3-20-19 bill would force interlocks for first time drunken drivers

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Democratic legislators are proposing a bill that would require all first-time drunken drivers to use ignition interlock devices.   Currently first-time drunken drivers must use an ignition interlock device for a year or join a sobriety program for a year if their blood alcohol level was 0.15 percent or higher during the incident.  Rep. (AP) — Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul has withdrawn Wisconsin's support for laws in Indiana and Ohio that limit abortion access.  Former Republican Attorney General Brad Schimel filed amicus briefs supporting the laws in a pair of lawsuits challenging them.
