The executive director of the League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Says a review of elections by the Wisconsin Elections Commission confirms that voter fraud is not a problem in Wisconsin.   The Commission says the review found two dozen cases of voting irregularities out of 2.7 million votes cast in the November midterm elections.  League director Erin Grunze says the incidents were discovered even with voter ID.   The year before, […]

The North Fond du lac police chief says its fortunate that nobody was hurt following an armed standoff this week.    Chief Darren Pautsch says police were called Wednesday morning to a residence on Wisconsin Avenue for a  report of an intoxicated man who had armed himself and made threats to harm himself.  The Sheriff’s SWAT team was also called.  Pautsch says after about four hours the man surrendered without incident.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin rule aimed at slowing the spread of chronic wasting disease between captive and wild deer has expired before it even took effect. The Department of Natural Resources had written an emergency deer farm fencing rule. SHEBOYGAN, Wis.
