MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers says Wisconsin will join a multistate lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump's emergency declaration to pay for a U.S.-Mexico border wall.  California and 15 other states a federal lawsuit in February alleging the declaration is unconstitutional. MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee authorities say a 4-year-old boy and a man have died in a house fire.  The fire swept through the home on Wednesday. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is warning people to stay of  Lake Winnebago during this week’s warm-up and wet weather.  Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says the rain this week, coupled with temperatures well above normal will only further deteriorate ice conditions on the lake.  "With the runoff its going to make traveling on the lake treacherous,"  Tadych told WFDL news.  "A lot of the local fishing clubs have […]

Wet Weather and above normal temperatures are in the forecast this week with the first official day of spring a week away.  National Weather Service meteorologist, Rebecca Rogers, says there is a chance for some minor flooding issues with the rain, melting snow, and still frozen ground.  Rogers says the normal high this time of year is about 40 degrees.  Temperatures Thursday are expected in the upper 50s.

The Department of Public Works would like remind residents of the importance of clearing the storm catch basins located at intersections and along the streets. Catch basins are the small inlets along the curb that collect melting snow or rainwater to remove it from the street. The weeks forecast may include up to an inch of rain.
