3-23-19 fdl flood clean-up continues

Fond du Lac residents are being asked to help volunteer with flood clean-up efforts again this weekend.  United Way executive director Amber Kilawee says a volunteer reception center will be open Saturday from 8:30am to 3pm at Pilgrim Church on Stow Street.  Kilawee says if you are volunteering to help clean make sure to dress appropriately.  The March 14 flood displaced hundreds of Fond du Lac residents.

Forty-eight tried. One prevailed in the closest of margins. 3-23-19 mrs. wisconsin pageant

A Fond du Lac woman is competing this weekend  in  the  Mrs. Wisconsin pageant.    Kim Galske will be competing Saturday evening  at the Northwoods Center in Eagle River.  This is Galske’s second competition.  She finished second runner-up last year.  Her platform is Salute the Troops and veterans.  The winner will compete for the national title of Mrs. United States hosted in Las Vegas this summer.
