3-21-19 wandering toddler

BELOIT, Wis. (AP) — Police in Beloit have reunited a toddler with his mother after the youngster was found wandering in a neighborhood wearing only a diaper.  A passer-by spotted the child, estimated at 2 or 3 years old, and called 911 about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. 3-20-19 fdl county board votes to continue sales tax

The Fond du Lac County Board has approved a resolution to continue the countywide sales tax.   At their meeting Tuesday night the board voted to  terminate the scheduled sales tax sunset date of  December 31, 2021.   County Board supervisor and finance committee chair Marty Ryan says residents would pay more without the sales tax.  "Because you're going to borrow more,"  Ryan told WFDL news.  County executive Al Buechel  says in […]
