A Ripon man faces the possibility of spending the rest of his life in prison if convicted of sexually abusing children. Fifty seven year old Terry Lee Phillips made his initial Fond du Lac court appearance Wednesday on 31 counts including repeated sexual assault of a child, child enticement, and physical abuse of a child. Bail was set at $500,000 cash. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 17. He is accused of sexually abusing and providing marijuana to children over the period of several years. Phillips was arrested last Friday at a residence in Ripon after he allegedly armed himself with a knife and then later surrendered.
