The Experimental Aircraft Association is hosting walk-in hiring events for EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019 jobs beginning on April 9. EAA is looking to hire individuals to fill as many as 600 temporary positions in various areas. EAA AirVenture will be held July 22-28, and is the world’s largest annual gathering of aviation fans, with people visiting from more than 70 countries. These temporary positions are opportunities for many people, including students or retirees, who are seeking a temporary position that does not require a full summer commitment.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
