4-29-19 fdl police investigating another reported attempted child enticement incident

Fond du Lac police are investigating yet another suspicious incident involving a report of a man trying to lure a child into his vehicle.  Police say around 3pm Saturday a mother reported  that while in Lakeside Park with her daughter, a man driving an SUV waved to her daughter to come to his vehicle and then drove off as the mom approached.  The male driver of the SUV was described as a white male in his 50’s or 60’s, with medium build, shorter hair and white mustache. The male subject also had a larger reddish or brown colored dog with him in the back seat area of a copper or burgundy colored SUV.   Police are looking to see if this incident is connected with a similar incident that was reported on April 21 that occurred in the area of Scott St and Wettstein Ave.
