4-20-19 fdl high school band members in california

 Nearly 100 Fond du Lac High School musicians are in sunny California this Easter holiday weekend.  The high school band students are performing in San Diego.  Band director Matt McVeigh says as part of the performance tour the students are working with musicians from the 1st Division US Marine Band, performing a concert at Balboa Park and participating in Disney’s Performance Arts on Stage workshop.

4-20-19 fdl man convicted in heroin overdose death

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for next month for a Fond du Lac man convicted  in the heroin overdose death of a 29 year old woman.  A sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 8 for  47 year old  Shannon Carlson.  Carlson pleaded no contest to a charge  of first degree reckless homicide in the September 2014 death of Jenna Reynolds.   Investigators say he supplied  the heroin that led to Reynold’s […]

4-20-19 fdl man bound over for trial in drug related shooting

A  Fond du Lac man charged in a drug-related shooting incident last fall that  injured two people has been bound over for trial.  Probable cause was found at a preliminary hearing for Delaney Watt on   17 counts including attempted first degree intentional homicide, recklessly endangering safety, reckless injury with use of a dangerous weapon and multiple drug charges.  The shooting happened September 12  outside the Eldorado apartments on Forest Avenue.   […]

SEYMOUR, Wis. (AP) — A man and two young children have been found dead in a home in the northeastern Wisconsin community of Seymour.  Police were called to the home for a domestic disturbance about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Fond du Lac Public Works says  Division Street between Marr Street and Amory Street is currently closed.
