(AP) — The state Elections Commission is certifying Brian Hagedorn's victory over Lisa Neubauer in a Supreme Court race, with a final tally that differed from the unofficial count by just a handful of votes.  Unofficial returns from the April 2 election showed Hagedorn ahead of Neubauer by 5,962 votes. 4-24-19 court records show campbellsport stabbing suspect has history of domestic violence

A review of the records by WFDL news shows a Campbellsport man charged in connection with a domestic abuse stabbing incident last month has a history of domestic violence.  James Allen is charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide and aggravated battery.   He is accused of stabbing his fiancée in the neck  with a pocket knife as she was driving at  highway speed on a county highway south of Campbellsport.  […]

4-24-19 historic building in depere destroyed by fire

DE PERE, Wis. (AP) — A historic building in De Pere that housed a restaurant, apartments, a yoga studio and photography business, has been destroyed by massive fire. Firefighters rushed to the scene about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday and found smoke in the Ogan restaurant on the first floor. Fire Chief Alan Matzke says about 20 people living in second-floor apartments were evacuated and all made it out safely.

A new federal lawsuit filed Tuesday alleges that Wisconsin's voter ID requirements for college students are unconstitutional.  The lawsuit was filed Tuesday by Common Cause in Wisconsin and a 20-year-old Milwaukee School of Engineering student. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal judge has rejected Wisconsin Republican lawmakers' attempt to intervene in a lawsuit filed by Planned Parenthood challenging the state's abortion restrictions.
