4-23-19 uselmann re-elected fdl school board president

Newly elected Fond du Lac school board members have been sworn into office.  Incumbent board members, Peggy Breister and Mark Jurgella and newcomer Nick Tiefke were administered the oath of office during Monday evening’s organizational meeting.   Linda Uselmann was re-elected board president and Susan Jones was elected board vice president.  The board also voted to keep their compensation the same… $1800 for board president, and $1600 for other board members.

4-23-19 romanian immigrant convicted in credit card skimming scheme

A Romanian immigrant has been convicted in connection with a series of credit card fraud and skimming incidents in Fond du Lac.   As part of a plea agreement,  35 year old Catalin A. MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say the same poison appears to have killed three family dogs and several wild animals since December in northern Wisconsin. State officials say the dog deaths happened in Bayfield, Marinette and Florence counties. Investigators are conducting lab tests to determine the type of poison used.  Lt.
