MILWAUKEE (AP) — A Wisconsin mother of seven has pleaded guilty to trying to plan terrorist attacks on behalf of the Islamic State group by distributing information on making explosives and biological weapons. 4-22-19 fdl water main flushing program

The City of Fond du Lac Water Utility has scheduled bi-annual citywide unidirectional water main flushing this week.  The water main flushing will begin on Monday, April 22 in the northeast area of town.  Flushing is done to improve overall water quality by ridding the water of mineral sediment by scouring and cleaning the interior walls of pipes.    During hydrant flushing, residents may notice temporary discoloration of water that poses […]

4-22-19 fdl division street reopns

Fond du Lac Public Works says  Division Street between Marr Street and Amory Street has reopened.   The street was  closed over the weekend  to allow the water utility to make emergency  repairs to the water main and restoration.  Meanwhile,    beginning Monday, April 29,   East Division Street between Park Avenue and Everett Street  will be closed through the end of  the day Friday, May 3  for sanitary and water  repairs.

4-22-19 fdl gas grill fire

(photos: fdl fire and rescue) Nobody was injured in a fire that destroyed a gas grill in Fond du lac.  Early Saturday evening Fond du Lac firefighters were called to the scene  at 15 S. Pioneer Parkway.   The fire was quickly extinguished, and there was no exposure to the residence.
