5-2-19 fdl curbside bulky waste collection

todayMay 1, 2019

The city of Fond du Lac plans to experiment with free curbside bulky waste pick-up starting this month.  Public Works director Jordan Skiff says up to 50 residents will be able to sign up on the city website for a free collection of bulky waste at the curb.  “We will have a website link where people can sign up.  We’ll advertise when the sign up starts,”  Skiff told WFDL news.  “They can just let us know what their address is, how much material they’ll have,  because this is intended for moderate size loads, not somebody cleaning out an entire apartment.”   Collections will take place on select Mondays or  Thursdays in May, as selected by  the residents.   People are asked to watch the city’s website and listen to WFDL radio for further announcements.
