An Arizona fugitive arrested during a SWAT team raid of a Fond du Lac home has been charged . Twenty three year old, Juan Monjarus, appeared in Fond du Lac court Thursday on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 14. Monjarus appeared in court earlier this week for an extradition hearing. He was arrested Monday when the Fond du Lac police and sheriff SWAT teams stormed a Sixth Street home after receiving a tip that he was at the residence. Seven other people who were arrested during the raid were questioned and later released. According to a criminal complaint, on April 10, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office received a private Facebook message on its Facebook account from a woman who said she was Monjarus’ mother, and that her son was living in Fond du Lac and has automatic firearms. In the same Facebook message was a picture of Monjarus with two firearms. According to the complaint during the execution of the search warrant police located several firearms including the guns Monjarus posed for in the picture. According to the complaint Monjarus frequented the the Wescot Gun Club in the town of Lamartine.
