Five brothers from Kewaskum were injured following a rollover crash on Interstate 41 in Germantown. Police say three of the brothers were ejected from the vehicle. All five were transported to Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee. Police say a 16-year-old was driving the car and his brothers, ages 15, 13, 9 and 8, were passengers in the vehicle. Witnesses say the 16-year-old was driving fast when he lost control about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday. The southbound lanes of 41 at Holy Hill Road were shut down for a couple hours until the crash scene was cleared.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
