5-21-19 campbellsport man charged with attempted homicide appears in court

A  Campbellsport man accused of  trying to kill his fiancée has been bound over for trial.   Thirty three year old James Allen is charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide and aggravated battery.   Allen is accused of stabbing his  fiancée, Michele Fleischman, in the neck with a pocket knife while she was driving at highway speed south of Campbellsport in March.  Investigators say the incident  followed an argument between the […]

A Fond du lac teenager accused of  trying to kill his stepfather with a tire iron has been bound over for trial.  Nineteen year old Ryan Robison faces multiple charges including attempted homicide.   Robison is accused of attacking  his stepfather,  73 year old Gary Bloedorn, with a tire iron at the Evergreen apartments near the Forest Mall.  Bloedorn  suffered severe head injuries and part of a finger was severed in […]

5-21-19 reeseville shooting incident-the latest

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate a shooting incident last week that injured a Reeseville man.  Sheriff Dale Schmidt says a 26 year old Reeseville man suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder  at a residence the small village south of Beaver Dam last Thursday night.  Schmidt says investigators are trying to determine if the two suspects involved fled on foot or left in a vehicle.  […]

A Fond du Lac woman who was pulled unconscious from a burning house Sunday afternoon has died. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says the woman the woman was pronounced dead at the hospital and an autopsy will be conducted to determine if she died from smoke inhalation.
