MADISON, Wis. LAKE DELTON, Wis. (AP) — An attempted kidnapping of a toddler in Lake Delton was thwarted when the child's parents awoke to a noise in the youngster's bedroom. 5-17-19 fdl police continue investigation into shooting and child enticement incidents

Fond du Lac police are continuing their investigation into a pair of shooting incidents  last month and a rash of child enticement incidents near Lakeside Park. 5-17-19 dodge county shooting incident

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that sent a Reeseville man to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.  The Sheriff’s Office says shortly after 9:30pm Thursday the victim was shot during a confrontation on North Main Street in Reeseville.  Initial reports are that two white male subjects wearing dark clothing confronted a 26-year-old Reeseville man and during the confrontation, he sustained a gunshot wound. 5-17-19 red cross says there is a critical shortage of type o blood

The American Red Cross Wisconsin Chapter  says there is a critical shortage of type O blood, the blood group needed by most hospitals.  Red Cross spokeswoman Laura McGuire says the Red Cross is asking eligible type O donors to make an appointment to give now.  McGuire says there is less than a two day supply of blood available for emergency rooms, where it can be most critical.  She says  medical […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republicans on the Legislature's budget-writing committee have approved more money for Wisconsin's technical colleges, but fell $11 million short of how much Gov.
