5-13-19 owi rollover crash in lakeside park west

One person escaped serious injury  following a one vehicle rollover crash in Lakeside Park West.  The crash happened shortly after 6:30pm Saturday evening on Howard Litscher Drive.   The car came to rest on its top next to a tree.    According to the police log witnesses say they saw the driver throw empty beer cans from the vehicle.  The driver was cited for drunken driving, bail jumping and disorderly conduct.

5-13-19 charlie daniels band coming to fdl

The Fond du Lac Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts has announced The Charlie Daniels Band will perform as part of its annual street party this summer.  Advanced tickets are on sale for $10 for  the Saturday July 13 event.  All proceeds will go to Thelma, a nonprofit arts center, to provide programming activities throughout the year.

5-10-19 inmate attacked, critically injured at waupun prison

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and Department of Corrections are investigating an assault that critically injured an inmate at the Waupun Correctional Institution.    Sources told WFDL news an inmate attacked another inmate Monday following an argument during a game of handball in the recreational area of the prison.
