5-9-19 oshkosh fire victim identified

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 71-year-old Oshkosh man found dead inside his home after it caught fire.  Emergency responders found the body of Wayne Trader about 10 p.m. Saturday. No one else was in the house at the time.  The cause of death and the cause of the fire haven't been released.

5-8-19 fdl man sentenced to prison for heroin overdose death

A Fond du Lac man convicted  in the heroin overdose death of a 29 year old woman is going to prison.  Fond du Lac County Circuit judge Robert Wirtz sentenced 47 year old Shannon Carlson to six years in prison followed by six years extended supervision.  Carlson earlier  pleaded  no contest to a charge  of first degree reckless homicide in the  September 2014 death of   Jenna Reynolds.   Investigators say he […]
