5-25-19 patterson sentencing

A Wisconsin man will spend the rest of his life in prison for kidnapping 13-year-old Jayme Closs and killing her parents.  Twenty-one-year-old Jake Patterson was sentenced Friday in Barron County. He pleaded guilty in March to two counts of intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping. 5-25-19 fdl flood damage totals top $200,000

Damage totals from the March 14 flood are in excess of $200,000 in the city of Fond du Lac.  City manager Joe Moore told the Fond du Lac City council this week the city’s application with Wisconsin Emergency Management for state public assistance lists damage totals at $204,410.  Moore says that includes $142,000 for debris clearance, $61,000 for protective measures, and $1,430 for roads and bridges.  Moore says he is […]
