The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is assisting Oshkosh police in the search of  an Oshkosh man described as missing and endangered.  The Sheriff’s Office says they are looking for Andrew Hildebrand.  His vehicle was located at the Auburn Lake boat launch parking lot in southeast Fond du lac County May 14.  An extensive  ground and aerial search of the area last week was unable to locate Hildebrand.  The […]

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) — Oshkosh police say a body has been recovered from a vehicle submerged in Lake Winnebago.  Police say they were notified Monday that there was damage to the railing at the Bowen Street fishing dock, indicating a vehicle may have plunged into the lake.  Oshkosh Fire Department divers did an initial search, but didn't find anything. The City of Fond Du Lac Municipal Service Center is partnering with Universal Recycling Technologies to offer a one week electronic recycling event this week.
