Three people were injured, one seriously, when three motorcycles crashed, one after another, in southeast Fond du Lac County. Shortly before 3pm Saturday rescue personnel were called to the scene on County Highway F east of Highway 45 in the town of Osceola. The Fond du lac County Sheriff’s Office says groups of motorcycles were traveling eastbound on Highway F when one operator lost control while negotiating a curve. That driver, a 55-year-old Sheboygan woman, lost control when she hit gravel in the roadway. A 9-year-old female passenger was ejected. The driver and passenger received non life-threatening injuries. Another motorcycle overturned after trying to avoid the first crash. The operator of the second motorcycle, a 47-year-old Saukville man, was not injured in the accident. A passenger, a 54 year old Milwaukee woman, was transported to St. Agnes Hospital for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. After the first series of crashes occurred, a secondary crash involving another motorcycle happened at the same location. This driver was not in the original group of motorcycles. A 49-year-old Sheboygan man had attempted to slow for the first accident scene but braked too abruptly, which caused him to lose control of his motorcycle that overturned. He was not injured in the crash.
