6-4-19 armed standoff in fdl ends-no injuries

Nobody was injured in an armed stand-off in Fond du Lac.  Shortly after 9am Tuesday the Police SWAT team entered a home in the 100 block of East Johnson Street and took a 27 year old male suspect into custody.   One child had earlier escaped and two children in the home were found unharmed.   Police had earlier responded to the home for  a welfare check after the man was reported to be acting strangely, running around naked in the street and had later armed himself with a knife.  Police blocked off Johnson Street between Main Street and Park Avenue as negotiators tried to get the man to surrender.
