The Wisconsin Lottery says residents in Dodge and Fond du Lac County have cashed in their winning tickets. Mark Omland of Fond du Lac claimed a $100,000 top prize for the Winner’s Circle instant scratch ticket he purchased at Phillips 66 on Peters Avenue in Fond du Lac. There is one top prize remaining in the game. Khader Hamdan of Hustiford won the SuperCash! $350,000 top prize he purchased at Quarry Mart in Sussex.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
