A nagging shoulder injury has forced Fond du Lac ultracyclist Dave Haase to end his quest to finish the grueling Race Across America. The owner of Attitude Sports posted on his Facebook page Tuesday that he was dropping out of the 3,000 mile coast to coast bike race. Haase says he was having issues with his shoulder due to a couple of bicycle crashes over the last couple of years. Haase was injured last fall in a crash during the Race the Lake bicycle race around Lake Winnebago.
