The Wisconsin Lottery says residents in Dodge and Fond du Lac County have cashed in their winning tickets.   Mark Omland of Fond du Lac claimed a $100,000 top prize for the Winner's Circle instant scratch ticket he purchased at  Phillips 66  on Peters Avenue in Fond du Lac. There is one top prize remaining in the game.  Khader Hamdan of Hustiford won the SuperCash! $350,000 top prize he purchased at Quarry Mart in Sussex.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims of a fatal head on collision south of Fond du Lac.  Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says 53 year old  Abel Rodriguez  of Fond du Lac was killed Thursday when his car crossed the center line on Highway 175 near County Highway Y striking a pick-up driven by  51 year old  Gary Peters of  Theresa.  Peters was seriously injured in the […]

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Republican lawmakers have ironed out a plan to fund road repairs.  Rep. John Nygren and Sen. Alberta Darling, co-chairs of the Legislature's finance committee, told reporters Thursday that the panel will scrap Gov. Thousands of people will converge on Lakeside Park this weekend for Fond du Lac’s Walleye Weekend.  The festival starts Friday afternoon and continues through Sunday at Lakeside Park.  The  event is centered around the Merc National Walleye fishing tournament,  and includes other activities including the run-walk on Saturday, Wallyball, kids activities, food, beverage and over 20 bands on four music stages.
