6-6-19 fdl man killed in head-on collision south of fdl

A Fond du Lac man was killed in a two vehicle head-on crash south of Fond du Lac.  The crash happened shortly after 8am Thursday on Highway 175 north of Highway Y.  Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Sergeant Paul Rottscholl says a 53 year old Fond  du lac man was southbound when his car crossed the center line striking a northbound  pick-up truck and trailer driven by a 51 year old Theresa  man.  […]

6-6-19 republicans propose hike in vehicle registration fee

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says Republicans are eyeing a $10 increase to the state's $75 vehicle registration fee as part of a way to pay for roads without raising the gas tax as Gov. Tony Evers has proposed. Evers did not call for an increase in the vehicle registration fee in his budget proposal.
