6-6-19 fdl man dies from injuries suffered in motorcycle crash

A Fond du Lac man has died from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash last weekend.  The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says 47 year old,  Richard Detert,   was pronounced dead at ThedaCare Medical Center in Neenah.   Detert was critically injured when his motorcycle struck a truck that turned in front of his motorcycle on Lakeshore Drive near Cemetery Road  Sunday afternoon.    A female motorcycle passenger, 37 year old, […]

Fond du Lac’s Mercury Marine celebrated the grand opening this week of its multi-million dollar diecast expansion project.   Merc says the $9 million, 23,500 square foot expansion allows the company to add onto its building capacity and keep up with increased demand for outboard engines.

6-5-19 brandon teenager convicted of causing a child to view a sex act placed on probation

A Brandon teenager convicted of  causing a child to view a sex act has been placed on probation.   At a sentencing hearing this week Fond du Lac judge Robert Wirtz withheld a prison sentence and placed 18 year old  James Iverson Jr. on probation for six years.  Iverson  pleaded no contest in March  to amended  charges of  causing a child to view a sex act and exposing genitals  to a child.   A […]
