One year ago University of Wisconsin Oshkosh officially became a university of three campuses including UW-Fond du Lac. On Friday, following approval from the UW System Board of Regents, UWO officially launched the brand that will carry it into the future as a regional institution. UW-Fond du Lac will now be called the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Fond du Lac Campus. According to a press release the “new” look creates a streamlined lettermark that represents the way many students, parents, alumni and communities already refer to the institution: UWO. “I am pleased the Board of Regents has approved our plan,” said UW Oshkosh Chancellor Andy Leavitt. “We are stronger together and we can serve the needs of more students, whether that is through access to education at Fond du Lac and Fox Cities or through the four-year Oshkosh campus. Our University offers a wealth of opportunities.”
