7-17-19 sexual assault kit tracking system bill

Fond du Lac state representative Jeremy Thiesfeldt is co-sponsoring a bill to help sexual assault victims track their sexual assault kit as it  proceeds through the criminal justice process.  Thiesfeldt and Democratic State representative, Chris Taylor, are circulating the Wisconsin Sexual Assault Kit Tracking System bill.  Thiesfeldt says this will be a survivor focused system to ensure the privacy and protection of the survivor at every step.   Thiesfeldt says the system will help revolutionize the criminal justice process for all involved in sexual assault cases.  The bill is expected to be formally introduced in the near future.
