One person was seriously injured in a three vehicle crash in Dodge County. It happened shortly after 11:30am Wednesday at the intersection of State Highway 33 and County Road TW. The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says a Honda Accord was rear ended by a van and pushed into the oncoming lane of traffic where it was struck by a Toyota car, splitting the Honda into two pieces. The drivers of both cars received minor injuries. The driver of the van received serious injuries. Two passengers in the van received minor injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
