7-17-19 crash shuts down sb i-41 near fdl

A portion of I-41 north of  Fond du Lac was shut down for a short period of time Wednesday morning following a car crash.  The driver of a car was transported to the hospital after the vehicle veered off the Interstate striking the cable barrier near County Highway OOO.  The left, southbound lane of 41, was closed for about an hour.

7-17-19 fdl man receives long prison sentence for sexual assault

A long prison sentence has been handed down for a convicted child sex offender found  guilty of  sexually assaulting a  Fond du Lac woman.  At a hearing Tuesday afternoon Fond du Lac judge Dale English sentenced Richard Forsyth II  to 13 years in prison and seven years extended supervision.  Forsyth was convicted earlier this year  of  second and fourth degree sexual assault.    Police say Forsyth sexually  assaulted  a woman at a […]
