7-15-19 fdl teen receives minor injuries in rollover crash

A 16 year old Fond du Lac boy was fortunate to escape serious injury in a rollover crash in the Fond du Lac area.   The crash happened shortly before 7am Saturday on Highway 151 near Brookhaven Beach Road in the town of Taycheeda.   A preliminary investigation shows a southbound  vehicle left the road, struck a driveway embankment and rolled over.   The teenage driver received minor injuries.  The vehicle received severe […]

7-15-19 gas leak repaired near mercury marine

A gas leak near Fond du lac's Mercury Marine has been temporarily repaired.    Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says Alliant Energy and the contractor were on the scene on the East Frontage Road most of the day Friday trying to locate the leak and then placing a patch on the damaged gas main.  Haase says it's his understanding the pipe is at least 30 years old.  "They […]

CRANDON, Wis.
