The Fond du Lac Department of Public Works says  Division Street between Main Street and Portland Avenue is closed Thursday.  The street will be closed to allow a crane to place equipment on the rooftop at the Retlaw Hotel at 1 N Main Street.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is  asking for the public’s help  in locating a Huber inmate walk away.  The Sheriff’s Office says  34 year old Nicolle Semrau  was serving a one year sentence for obstructing an officer and operating a motor vehicle while revoked when she failed to return to jail from a pre-approved appointment.  Her last known address is in Reeseville.   She has been known to travel in a white color 2010 […]

Jeremy Thiesfeldt and Democratic Rep. 7-11-19 madison high school to offer students free condoms

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A high school in Madison, Wisconsin, plans to offer students free condoms as part of a pilot program this year. The Wisconsin State Journal reports Madison West High School will provide condoms for free to students upon request. According to Dane County's health department, the number of sexually transmitted infections at West increased from about 40 in 2015 to more than 90 in 2017.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Tony Evers says an Illinois pharmaceutical company plans to build a drug manufacturing plant in southeastern Wisconsin. Evers announced Wednesday that Lincolnshire-based Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., plans to build the $250 million facility in Pleasant Prairie. Construction will begin in August with production starting in 2022.
