7-6-19 wet weather slows construction on highway 151 near columbus

Wet weather has delayed construction work on Highway 151  between Columbus and Sun Prairie.  Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials say construction is expected to continue for most of the summer and completed shortly after  Labor Day, Sept. 2.   The project, which began in April, was original scheduled for completion next month.  Work is also taking place on the on and off ramps at Highways 16 and 73.

7-6-19 woman arrested after brandishing lighter near gas tank

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Police in Madison have arrested woman after she allegedly brandished a lighter near a man's gas tank while he was fueling up. Police said officers arrived at a Citgo station late Thursday night. 7-6-19 man arrested in winnebago county for 9th owi

A Marshall man has been arrested  for his 9th operating while intoxicated  offense after hitting a concrete barrier wall  in Winnebago County.   The crash happened Thursday morning on I-41 northbound at Prospect Avenue.  A state trooper found 46 year old Larry Eldridge unconscious in an SUV and open intoxicants in the vehicle.  Eldridge transported to a Neenah hospital and later arrested for  OWI 9th  offense and 2nd offense Operating After Revocation.

7-6-19 fdl county man arrested in dane county for 4th owi

A Fond du Lac County man has been arrested in southern Wisconsin for his fourth OWI.   Thirty six year old Aaron Roffers of Ashford was stopped by police in  Middleton early Sunday morning after reports he was driving all over the road.  He was arrested for his alleged fourth operating while intoxicated offense.

7-6-19 mayville man charged with 7th owi

A Mayville man is charged with his 7th OWI.   Fifty-five year old Gregory Cundy is being held in the Dodge County Jail on $25,000 cash bond.  The charge carries a maximum sentence of more than 12 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.  According to a criminal complaint Cundy backed into another car and left the area.  He was later arrested at his home.
