7-30-19 three people injured when horse drawn buggy overturns in green lake county

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. 7-30-19 fdl powerball winner

A Powerball winner in Fond du Lac over the weekend.  The winner  in Saturday's drawing matched 4 of 5  numbers plus the Powerball. Since they also purchased the Power Play prize multiplier feature, the  $50,000 prize was automatically multiplied by two; turning the $50,000 ticket into a $100,000 winner.  The numbers drawn were 1, 19, 31, 48, 61, PB-6 and PP-2X.   Kwik Trip (980 S. Hickory Street) in Fond du Lac sold the winning ticket.

7-30-19 no injuries in car fire on interstate 41 in fdl

All lanes have reopened on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac following a car fire.  Shortly before 7am firefighters were called to southbound Interstate 41 south of Highway 000 for an automobile fire. 7-30-19 judge grants defense motion to disqualify prosecutor from homicide case

A Fond du Lac judge has granted a defense motion to  disqualify the District attorney from prosecuting a homicide case.   At a hearing Monday afternoon Judge Gary Sharpe  granted the motion by attorneys for Devon Neuman to disqualify DA Eric Toney  because Toney had represented Neuman twice in juvenile delinquency matters.    Toney  said he will review the options, including the possibility of appointing a special prosecutor.  The ruling postpones a  jury trial that was […]
