The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal motorcycle versus car crash in Dodge County. The Sheriff’s Office says 29 year old Jacob Harshbarger of rural Fox Lake died from injuries suffered in the crash Wednesday morning on Kellom Road north of CTH B in the Township of Beaver Dam. Investigators say Harshbarger was turning into a parking lot and collided with a car. He was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash is under investigation.

A house fire near New Holstein claimed the life of a child. Shortly after 2am Wednesday firefighters were called to the scene on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Road T. A child in the home was pronounced dead at a hospital. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
