8-21-19 counterfeit money surfaces in fdl

Fond du lac police are investigating reports of counterfeit money surfacing in the city.   Police say a counterfeit $100 bill was reported at the O’Connor Quick Mart on Fond du Lac Avenue this week and another report of  a woman who was paid with two counterfeit $50 bills for driving two men to Milwaukee.  Police say there have been several reports of counterfeit money in the last few weeks.

8-21-19 watertown man convicted of child sex assault

A Watertown man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a child.   As part of a plea agreement  27 year old Juan Malaga was found guilty of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in Dodge County Circuit Court.  He is accused of fondling one of his stepchildren.   The charge carries a maximum sentence of  25 years behind bars.  A sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 22.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A pair of Republican legislators is introducing a package of legislation designed to combat elder abuse.  Sen. Patrick Testin and Rep. MADISON, Wis. 8-20-19 waupun fire investigation-the latest

8-20-19 woman dies after falling into winnebago county quarry

POYGAN, Wis. (AP) — A woman has died and her husband was injured after they fell into a quarry in Winnebago County.  The incident happened Monday in the town of Poygan. 8-20-19 thiesfeldt opposes universal background checks
