SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say human remains have been found on a northwest Missouri farm that has been the focus of a search for two missing Wisconsin brothers.  Clinton County Sheriff Larry Fish announced Wednesday the remains were found on a farm near Braymer.  He says the remains have not been officially identified. 8-1-19 nine people charged so far in wisconsin rape kit backlog

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Charges have been filed against nine people so far as a result of the Wisconsin Department of Justice's work to test thousands of kits containing evidence collected from sexual assault victims.  Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul said in an interview Wednesday he expects that number to increase as more tests are completed and prosecutors review evidence. 8-1-19 father accused of leaving toddler in vehicle for 10 hours

SCHOFIELD, Wis. (AP) — A father has been arrested after he was accused of leaving his 2-year-old child alone in a car for 10 hours in Schofield.  Everest Metro police say the toddler is hospitalized after being left in the vehicle from 2 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday. Police responded to a 911 call from a man requesting an ambulance and found the child's mother holding the toddler when they arrived.  […]
