9-4-19 aaa-red light running crash fatalities

AAA Wisconsin says new statistics regarding red light running crash fatalities are scary, and behoove pedesterians and cyclists to stay alert when crossing the street.  The AAA Foundation data analysis found that 939 people were killed in red light running crashes in 2017, a 10 year high and a 22 percent increase over the previous 12 year average.  State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmuscz tells WFDL news in Wisconsin there were 22 such fatalities, a 150 percent increase.  Jarmuscz says  parents should have a talk with their kids  about staying alert when crossing the street while walking or biking to and from school.
