9-5-19 fdl man convicted of stalking

todaySeptember 5, 2019

A Fond du Lac man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman when she was unconscious has been convicted of felony stalking.  As part of a plea agreement 32 year old Aaron Lemay entered an Alford Plea to two counts of felony stalking.  An Alford plea means the defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction.   One count of second degree sexual assault and one count of fourth degree sexual assault were dismissed and read into the record.  Lemay was placed on probation for two years with six months in the county jail.  According to a criminal complaint Lemay showed up at a motel room where the victim was staying and sexually assaulted her,  and also made contact with the victim through the mail and at her Waupun residence.
