9-6-19 fondue fest

Thousands of people are converging on downtown Fond du lac this weekend for the 13th annual Fond du Lac Fondue Fest.  Downtown Partnership director Amy Hansen says the event  Saturday features activities for the entire family. In addition to fondue the festival includes the farmer’s market, arts and crafts, music, and a Kids Zone.  The Downtown Fall Festival began in 2000, when downtown merchants wanted to celebrate the reopening of Main Street following a lengthy construction project.   The name was changed to officially become Fondue Fest in 2007.    The event runs from 9am to 5pm Saturday.
