A 21-year-old Ixonia woman accused of  helping a convicted killer  hide a Beaver Dam man’s body at the Dodge County property where she lived has made her initial court appearance.   Dakota Schlesner is charged with party to a crime of hiding a corpse.   She is free on a five thousand dollar signature bond.  The charge carries a maximum penalty of more than 12 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted.    Twenty one year old […]

U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin says extreme weather caused by climate change has impacted Fond du Lac and surrounding communities in recent years,  stretching city and county budgets thin.  The Democratic senator met with county officials Thursday about the resources they need to help their communities withstand extreme weather events.   Baldwin says there needs to be more efficient use of federal disaster funds.

9-5-19 fdl man convicted of stalking
